We’ve finally come to a point in our lives where we can actually fulfill some of our dreams to travel the world and experience the phenomenal beauty that exists on this globe. From our home base in New England or St. Pete Beach, Florida, we’ve started to learn, first hand, what lies beyond our own neighborhood and to meet people of many ethnic backgrounds, cultures and beliefs, to gaze upon the natural beauty which is all around us and to learn some history about this great world we all live in.We hope you enjoy the photos listed here and perhaps they will encourage you to travel to some of these places. One of our guides is the book “1,000 Places to See Before You Die” by Patricia Schultz. We’ve been checking off her suggestions left and right with many more to go. It’s a great start. Another guide is Hillman Wonders, http://hillmanwonders.com, and we’re well on our way to Hillman’s top 100.Finally our philosophy will be that of Mark Twain as quoted in Schultz’s book, “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. “Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”Our travel pages are arranged by Continent, then by individual country or state, and each country is further arranged by city. Categories are
North America,
South America,
